Many of our gowns are crafted from structured fabrics with minimal stretch for a tailored silhouette.
If you are between sizes, we generally recommend selecting the size closest to your largest measurement.
Floor-length gowns are designed with extra length to allow for hemming.

Measure while wearing form-fitting clothing and standing naturally. Keep the measuring tape level and snug, but not tight.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape remains level across your back.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — typically the narrowest part of your torso.

Hip

Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Bicep

Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm.

Gown Length

Measure from the top of your shoulder to the floor while wearing your preferred heel height.

Do you offer alterations?

Yes. Gowns of $895 or more bought at sachinandbabi.com or at our showrooms include complimentary alterations, including hemming, by appointment. Altered gowns are final sale, so we recommend confirming your size carefully before purchase

Are Sachin & Babi dresses true to size?

Most styles fit true to size. Because many designs are structured and offer minimal stretch, we recommend selecting the size that most closely aligns with your measurements.

What if I’m between sizes?

If your measurements fall into different size ranges, choose the size closest to your largest measurement to ensure the most comfortable fit.

How long are Sachin & Babi gowns?

Floor-length styles are intentionally designed with additional length to allow for hemming based on your height and preferred heel.

VIEW ALL GOWNS

The Galway gown in Moonstone captures the magic of a starlit evening with a clean, modern line. The full-length, A-Line silhouette gown pairs a strapless bodice and straight neckline with a skirt that gracefully releases into a soft A-line from the waist to the floor. Shimmering embellishment covers the bodice in dense, tonal sparkle, then scatters across the waist and down into the skirt, fading softly as it falls, as if the light is drifting downward. The gown is cut from solid stretch Mikado, which has the crisp body and subtle sheen of traditional Mikado to hold the skirt’s shape, and added stretch for an ease of fit and freedom of movement. Moonstone is a pale, luminous sky blue named for the gem known for its soft inner glow, a cool, ethereal backdrop that makes the embellishment shine.

The custom embellishment is meticulously hand-sewn over 221 hours by 3rd generation artisans in our family-owned Mumbai atelier, reflecting generations of artistry and craftsmanship.

US Shipping

Free shipping (UPS Ground) to all U.S. orders over $500 USD. Check our Shipping policy for more information. All orders in the US are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification once your order has been shipped.

International Shipping

Shipping charges for international orders will be calculated and displayed at checkout and may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), based on your destination country which Sachin & Babi is not responsible for.

Returns

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery (if the item is unused and in its original condition) and we will refund the full order amount. Please allow up to 30 business days for us to process your return package and all refunds to credit cards will appear within 1-2 billing statements.
