Many of our gowns are crafted from structured fabrics with minimal stretch for a tailored silhouette.
If you are between sizes, we generally recommend selecting the size closest to your largest measurement.
Floor-length gowns are designed with extra length to allow for hemming.

For the most accurate fit, we recommend carefully comparing your bust, waist, and hip measurements to the chart above before placing your order.

HOW TO MEASURE

Measure while wearing form-fitting clothing and standing naturally. Keep the measuring tape level and snug, but not tight.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape remains level across your back.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — typically the narrowest part of your torso.

Hip

Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Bicep

Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm.

Gown Length

Measure from the top of your shoulder to the floor while wearing your preferred heel height.

Alteration services are available through appointments at our showroom. We recommend confirming sizing carefully prior to purchase.

Are Sachin & Babi dresses true to size?

Most styles fit true to size. Because many designs are structured and offer minimal stretch, we recommend selecting the size that most closely aligns with your measurements.

What if I’m between sizes?

If your measurements fall into different size ranges, choose the size closest to your largest measurement to ensure the most comfortable fit.

How long are Sachin & Babi gowns?

Floor-length styles are intentionally designed with additional length to allow for hemming based on your height and preferred heel.

Make no mistake, the Marta Gown is no wallflower. She is the epitome of timeless, elevated personal style and quiet luxury. The fit and print are everything. The floor-length silhouette is partially inspired by the impeccable tailoring of a "shirt style" fit. This incredibly flattering body finds its way into our Opal Fresco print. A banded collar is tastefully cut away to meet concealed front buttons. Our Mikado fabric with the mono-color florals makes this dress a classic and a statement all at once.

The custom crystal embellishment is skillfully created and applied by our 3rd-generation artisans, who remain an integral part of our family-owned atelier in Mumbai.

US Shipping

Free shipping (UPS Ground) to all U.S. orders over $500 USD. Check our Shipping policy for more information. All orders in the US are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification once your order has been shipped.

International Shipping

Shipping charges for international orders will be calculated and displayed at checkout and may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), based on your destination country which Sachin & Babi is not responsible for.

Returns

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery (if the item is unused and in its original condition) and we will refund the full order amount. Please allow up to 30 business days for us to process your return package and all refunds to credit cards will appear within 1-2 billing statements.
