FIT GUIDANCE

Most Sachin & Babi styles fit true to size.
Many of our gowns are crafted from structured fabrics with minimal stretch for a tailored silhouette.
If you are between sizes, we generally recommend selecting the size closest to your largest measurement.
Floor-length gowns are designed with extra length to allow for hemming.

For the most accurate fit, we recommend carefully comparing your bust, waist, and hip measurements to the chart above before placing your order.

HOW TO MEASURE

Measure while wearing form-fitting clothing and standing naturally. Keep the measuring tape level and snug, but not tight.

Sachin & Babi how to measure guide - model in floor-length gown with labels showing gown length, bicep, chest/bust, waist and hip measurement points

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape remains level across your back.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — typically the narrowest part of your torso.

Hip

Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Bicep

Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm.

Gown Length

Measure from the top of your shoulder to the floor while wearing your preferred heel height.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes. Gowns of $895 or more bought at sachinandbabi.com or at our showrooms include complimentary alterations, including hemming, by appointment. Altered gowns are final sale, so we recommend confirming your size carefully before purchase

Are Sachin & Babi dresses true to size?

Most styles fit true to size. Because many designs are structured and offer minimal stretch, we recommend selecting the size that most closely aligns with your measurements.

What if I’m between sizes?

If your measurements fall into different size ranges, choose the size closest to your largest measurement to ensure the most comfortable fit.

How long are Sachin & Babi gowns?

Floor-length styles are intentionally designed with additional length to allow for hemming based on your height and preferred heel.

The Embellished Brielle Gown in Midnight Wildflower Fields embodies refined elegance, the epitome of timeless, elevated personal style. The floor-length gown silhouette is defined by a clean strapless neckline and a structured bodice, with the skirt gracefully releasing into a slim A-line. A painterly floral print blooms across the deep navy base, with delicate sprays of soft pink, pale blue, lavender, and ivory flowers set among slender green stems that wind their way from bodice to hem. Done in a Mikado, which offers a subtle, luminous sheen, the dark ground lets each bloom glow like a garden by moonlight, the moment when everything feels a bit more enchanting.

Each gown is thoughtfully crafted and finished by our 3rd-generation artisans, who remain an integral part of our family-owned atelier in Mumbai.
